This book by PhD Asgar Zeynalov has been devoted to Victor Hugo’s creative activity. The monograph deals with the French
writer’s life, the Azerbaijani translation of his works and their studies. It presents the analysis of Hugo’s collection of poems “Les Orientales”, his verses dedicated to the death of his daughter Leopoldine as well as the novels “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”
and “Les Miserables”. The book also touches upon the lives and creative activities of the writers, who were Hugo’s contemporaries. |
